Maths is like toothpaste. Useless on its own, it only has a function when used with something else (i.e. a toothbrush).
At the end of the last century, 'Professor' G. Alliss took a long, hard look into the depths of his deep, dark soul and realised that Maths was in fact toothpaste. This site is dedicated to his theory. It is time the world was told.

Agree?
I've seen the light! Maths really is toothpaste! Agree? Tell us why...
Actually, after reading the side bar, "Maths is like toothpaste. Useless on its own, it only has a function when used with something else (i.e. a toothbrush)," about another dozen times, I've just come to realise it's true.
My Physics teacher, Jules, ALWAYS went on about how Maths is just a TOOL for Physics... And how when Maths is on it's own, it's NOTHING. So, yeh, I kinda agree, and I know Jules DEFFO agrees!:)
The theory is okay I suppose, although limiting toothbrush representation to Physics is just poor. Whatever happened to maths being used with spare time as the toothbrush, just for laughs?
Hey There I just want to big up the bloke who invented this super duper theory about Maths! Although I'm an AS level Maths student I thoroughly agree with your theory. Everything works better when it's used in junction with something else! I also want to take this chance to Big Up Mr West for introducing this great theory to my physics class and myself! Keep up the good work with the theory developments.
Errrrr, I didn't actually mean Physics is only a toothbrush... It's so much more than a toothbrush! I just meant that in terms of Maths having to be used with Physics, and when Maths is described as toothpaste, then Physics CAN be described as a toothbrush...?

Token Girl (AS Physics!)
The theory is pretty good, but I don't like the limited paintbrush representation.
What ever happened to using maths with spare time as the toothbrush, just for laughs?

Paintbrush?
